Discombobulated
Discombobulated won’t appeal to everyone, but I have loved it since its first bloom in my garden. Its color is difficult to capture on camera, but beautiful to those who like “smoky” or “dusky” irises. The flowers are big and extravagantly ruffled. Discombobulated also produces great seedlings in a bewildering array of colors and patterns. Unique!
Tall Bearded, Early to late season bloom, 38 inches
Ecru standards, flushed dusky pink; style arms ecru; greyed cattleya falls, small lavender blaze below beards; dusky purple, tipped brown
